Guidance for Abstract Creation
We are excited to invite animal healthcare professionals to contribute to the Vivarium Operational Excellence Network Conference. To ensure your abstract submission stands out and aligns with the conference, please follow the guidance below:
1. Abstract Title - Keep it concise yet descriptive, ideally not exceeding 15 words. The title should capture the essence of your study or project.
2. Author Information - Include the name, affiliation, and contact information
3. Abstract Structure
Objective: Start with a clear statement of the objective or main question your work addresses.
Methods: Briefly describe the methodology or approach used in your study or project.
Results: Highlight key findings or outcomes, including relevant data and statistics where applicable.
Conclusion: Summarize the implications of your findings.
4. Content and Relevance - Ensure your abstract directly relates to the conference themes. We welcome submissions that offer novel insights, practical solutions, or compelling case studies in operational excellence as applied in the animal healthcare field. Aim for clarity and conciseness. The abstract should not exceed 500 words.
5. Originality and Significance - Your submission should represent original work that has not been published elsewhere. Discuss the significance of your findings or innovations within the context of animal healthcare operations.
6. Review and Proofreading - Carefully review and proofread your abstract to avoid typographical and grammatical errors. Consider having a colleague review it as well to ensure clarity and coherence.
7. Submission Guidelines - Submit your abstract by the deadline, March 29, 2024. Ensure that you adhere to any specific formatting or submission instructions.
