Professionalism and Respect
All attendees, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers at our conference are expected to conduct themselves with professionalism, courtesy, and respect for others. This applies to all conference-related environments, including talks, workshops, social events, and online forums.
Diversity and Inclusion
We are committed to creating an inclusive event that reflects the diversity of the animal healthcare community. Discrimination or harassment based on gender, race, religion, age, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected status will not be tolerated.
Harassment-Free Environment
Harassment of conference participants in any form is unacceptable. This includes, but is not limited to, inappropriate comments, imagery, deliberate intimidation, stalking, harassing, and sustained disruption of talks or events.
Consequences of Unacceptable Behavior
Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately. Conference organizers reserve the right to take any action deemed necessary and appropriate, including warning the offender or expelling them from the conference with no refund.
Reporting Guidelines
If you are subject to or witness unacceptable behavior, or have any other concerns, please notify a conference organizer as soon as possible. All reports will be handled with discretion and confidentiality.
Personal Responsibility
Participants are responsible for their own actions and are expected to adhere to these standards of behavior in all conference venues, including online interactions and social gatherings associated with the conference.
By participating in the Vivarium Operational Excellence Network Conference, you agree to abide by this code of conduct, ensuring a welcoming and productive environment for all. Together, we can create a memorable and enriching experience for everyone involved.
