Carrying forward a legacy of inclusion
In recognition of the fearless and pioneering spirit of our founder, Dr. Donna Matthews Jarrell — who has championed Continuous Improvement in Animal Healthcare around the globe — we honor her legacy through this annual scholarship to the National AALAS Conference.
Donna has been instrumental in spreading operational excellence throughout the biomedical research community. Her commitment to inclusion expanded the VOE-Network's reach to include Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) as developmental partners, helping to elevate and advance people of color in the field. With this scholarship, we aim to inspire and support the next generation of animal care professionals — those who will continue to lead with purpose, integrity, and innovation. |
